This stunning AF coffee table book is an exhaustive 271 pages of the best horror soundtracks on vinyl including the cover art, liner notes, interviews with some heavy hitters (John fkn Carpenter no less!), an intro by Mick Garris and that epic cover art by Andrew Wright. There is a section on Italian horror scores (which could be a book on its own), supernatural & creature features among others which have been lovingly curated by the authors.
I ordered this little beauty 6 months ago almost to the day and it fashionably arrived on Halloween week. When I saw there was an expanded repress coming I decided to wait for the new version. And the book rather auspiciously arrived just as I was going through my records for my Halloween set at the Roxy on Sunday.
An absolutely essential buy for horror wax junkies.
