The legendary composer was the soundtrack to my and many childhoods. It’s mind boggling the number of classic movies he’s been involved in. His themes are so entwined into the fabric of Star Wars, that even now with other composers scoring the new films & shows, it can be a little jarring at first not to hear Williams’ music with them. One thing I love about the records for his Spielberg films, is Steve’s blurbs on the back cover where he heaps praise on Williams. It’s nice to see someone of Spielberg’s stature giving props to his composer. What’s your favourite John Williams score?
